Privacy policy

Last updated:

GIDEON GROUP CONSTRUCTION N.V., trading as Gideon Group, operates this website. This policy explains how information is handled when you browse the site or contact us.

Website analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to our pages and improve the website. The Google tag loads only after you accept analytics, including on later visits while your saved consent remains valid. If you reject analytics or make no choice, the tag is not loaded. Analytics data can include the page address and title, referring page, browser and device information, language, approximate location, and cookie-based identifiers.

Our website integration measures page views. Google Analytics also generates standard first-visit, session, and engagement information. We do not add custom tracking for contact-link clicks or gallery interactions. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our integration.

We remove query strings and fragments from the page and referrer addresses supplied by our integration. We do not send the contents of your emails, telephone calls, or WhatsApp conversations to Google Analytics.

Cookies and language preferences

After you accept, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, including cookies with names beginning with _ga, to distinguish browsers and maintain session information.

We remember acceptance or rejection for 180 days in your browser’s local storage under gideon-group-analytics-consent. This record includes your choice, a policy version, and an expiry time. If storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current page. Closing the notice without choosing keeps analytics off unless you previously accepted and that consent is still valid.

When you choose a language, the site saves that choice as gideon-group-locale in your browser’s local storage. This preference is used for language navigation and remains until you clear the site’s stored data. It is separate from analytics cookies.

Analytics data retention

Our Google Analytics property is configured to retain event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months. Reset on new user activity is enabled: new activity can restart the user-data retention period, so this is not a fixed 14-month limit from your first visit.

These controls apply to the user and event data covered by Google’s retention settings. They do not affect most standard reports based on aggregated data, and they do not define how long browser cookies last. Withdrawing consent stops future collection by this website; it does not automatically delete data already collected.

Information you share with us

The website has no contact form. If you contact us by email, telephone, or WhatsApp, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your contact details and project requirements, to respond to your inquiry. Those communications use the relevant service provider rather than a form hosted on this website.

Service providers

Google processes analytics data. Hosting and media-delivery providers also receive technical request information, such as your IP address, to deliver the website and its images. These providers may process information in countries other than your own.

In our Google Analytics account, optional sharing for Google products and services and for modeling contributions and business insights is disabled. Technical-support access is enabled, allowing Google support representatives to access Analytics data and the account when necessary to provide support. Disabling these optional sharing settings does not prevent Google from processing data to provide Analytics.

External services, including WhatsApp and your email provider, have their own privacy policies. Google explains its handling of information from sites using its services at the links below.

Your choices

Use Privacy settings in the footer to accept or reject analytics at any time. To withdraw a previous acceptance, choose Reject analytics. We disable collection, remove this integration’s accessible Analytics cookies, and reload the page to unload the Google tag. Your consent choice also applies when you switch between English and Spanish on this website.

You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings. Blocking cookies alone does not necessarily stop all analytics requests. Google provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. The website’s content and contact links remain available when analytics is blocked.

Privacy questions

Contact us with questions about this policy, data retention, or requests concerning your personal information, including access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
